Why have rare earth magnets been replacing the ordinary permanent magnets?

Currently, producing rare earth magnet’s technology consists basically of two parts, namely the magnetic powder preparation and magnet production. The main methods of the preparation of a powder have powder metallurgy method, rapid quenching method, reduction diffusion method and hydrogen embrittlement method.
