Which is the magnet’s performance decided by?

The magnet performance is mainly determined composed by the following 3 performance parameters:

Remanence Br: permanent magnets reach technical saturation through magnetization, and remove the external magnetic field, then the retained Br is called the residual magnetic flux density.

Coercivity Hc: make the permanent magnet B of magnetization reach to technology saturation reduced to zero, and the need to reverse the strength of the magnetic field is called the magnetic coercivity, which refers to the coercivity.

Energy product BH: energy product represents the magnetic energy density created by the magnet in the air gap space, that is, the air gap per unit volume’s magnetostatic energy. Since this energy is equal to the product of the magnet Bm and Hm, so it is called energy product.

Surface magnetic field: surface field refers to the magnetic induction intensity of the permanent magnet surface at a specified position.
