Which characteristics do sintered NdFeB magnets plating process have?

  The plating basic process of sintered NdFeB magnets can be divided into the following three stages:

  Firstly, before surface treatment of plating to magnet, operator should do degreasing, cleaning, etching ( activation ), then cleaning surface treatment before plating, the surface of the magnet should keep no oil, no oxide and corrosion, before plating, sintered NdFeB magnet's surface directly affects the quality of plating products.

  Secondly, when plating magnets whose surface has been treated, coating quality mainly depends on the bath formulation and operation conditions. Therefore, during the plating process, operator must strictly comply with the technical specifications, good control of bath composition, additive ratio, temperature, current density and other parameters, and according to the coating thickness and deposition rate, good control of the plating time.

  Thirdly, the processing after plated is an important link in plating. For example, after the electroplating, the sintered NdFeB magnets are generally applied to the neutralization and washing, sometimes gloss processing ( light ), passivation, organic coating processes in order to meet the special requirements of the product.
